Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Manager, Enterprise Performance, Oracle in Pleasanton, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

Work You’ll Do 

Help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions by overseeing Oracle software advisory and implementation services. Oversee information technology projects including strategy and implementation to address business needs throughout the enterprise utilizing Oracle products. Manage and deliver components of engagements; improve the ability to react in the digital world and enable innovation and scalability, remove performance barriers, modernize core systems, and reimagine their business with Oracle digital solutions. Manage and lead aspects of the proposal development process and develop proposal pricing strategies and build and maintain stakeholder relationships. Improve internal processes and promote Oracle knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence and serve as counselor and coach for delivery teams and staff. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability; design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth.

Requirements 

Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Information Systems, any STEM field, or a related field and four (4) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) and six (6) years of progressive related work experience. Must have four (4) years of related work experience with:

o Overseeing Oracle software advisory and implementation services for the Consumer Products, TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecom), and Oil & Gas industries;

o Driving project strategy, which includes analyzing a wide variety of business solutions and selecting the most relevant Oracle tools and techniques to meet specific requirements including business case, pricing, complex financial analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs;

o Managing day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients;

o Leading and managing large Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) implementations across Oracle modules including: Financials, Transportation, Projects, GRC (Government, Risk and Compliance), Procurement and HCM (Human Capital Management);

o Leading project management offices (PMOs), establishing project governance structures, managing budgets, time and schedules, project risks, issues, and change requests and managing day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients;

o Leading functional and technical design and development efforts and testing efforts for Oracle EBS applications and various Reports, Interface, Conversions and Extensions (RICE) objects;

o Leading testing and cutover leads to plan and to execute System Testing, Integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production cutover activities;

o Leading business development activities, including proposal development and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP), eminence, and point of view development and developing and delivering client pitches and proposals, including pricing and Statement of Work (SoW) creation; and

o Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
