Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Services, LLC seeks a Senior Manager, Audit & Assurance (Global Audit Analytics) in New York, New York.
Work You’ll Do
Work with audit and pursuit teams to analyze and determine the manner in which analytics tools and solutions could be utilized to improve the audit practice. Develop strategy for analytics-enabled audit in accordance to auditing standards to organize analytics within Audit, use of delivery centers, technology and methodology. Establish and execute strategies for sharing analytics content and Intellectual Property across member-firm networks. Develop auditing processes by creating channels for collaboration and central repositories for materials. Oversee enabling activities for auditors such as the development of learning programs across the firm, development of change management strategies, approach for liaising with accounting academia community, and supporting internal and external eminence activities. Collaborate closely with Audit Quality team to ensure consistent messaging on firm strategy in analytics with regulatory bodies. Overall project management oversight of all global audit analytics work streams, including reporting to leadership, creating sessions for collaboration, monitoring executions of key analytics projects across the member firm network. Develop, evaluate and assess new audit analytics solutions for Global Audit practice. Advise member firms on selecting audit teams to improve the use of data analytics. Provide recommendations on the design and development of analytics portal, deployment and analytics content. Improve audit practices to help shape the future of audit at the company in accordance with auditing standards. Utilize experience with conducting business process workshops utilizing Microsoft Suite to understand and map current state and optimize processes; designing, planning, and enabling user acceptance testing for deployment and release of analytic solutions, tools and technologies; user acceptance testing for new tools such as analytics or reporting tools; application of data analytics within the audit to create and review audit learning for audit practitioners; managing team budgets and performing monthly financial reviews; designing analytics that meet regulatory requirements; designing and developing pilots/proof of concepts for analytic processes such as data acquisition, data mapping and data cleansing.

Requirements
Position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Accounting or related field and four (4) years of experience in Global Audit Manager or related occupation. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Accounting or related field and six (6) years of experience in Global Audit Manager or related occupation.
Special Requirements: Experience must have included four (4) years of experience with a Master’s degree or six (6) years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree with the following special skills:
- Conducting business process workshops utilizing Microsoft Suite to understand and map current state and optimize processes
- Designing, planning, and enabling user acceptance testing for deployment and release of analytic solutions, tools and technologies
- User acceptance testing for new tools such as analytics or reporting tools
- Application of data analytics within the audit to create and review audit learning for audit practitioners

- Up to 20% of national and international travel required

Deloitte Global is required by local law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role for individuals applying to work in our New York City location. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. A reasonable estimate of the range is $141,730 - $236,215 for individuals applying to work in this location.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
