Position Summary

Senior Manager, National EAP (Performance Psychology and Mental Resilience)

Work you’ll do

You will assume a leadership role in helping to transform the program’s vision, strategy, and implementation, and contribute to the modernization of Deloitte’s mental health capabilities to enrich and support personnel from a strength-based, trans-disciplinary approach. You will drive the growth of the sub-specialty and focus on solutions that create the ideal psychological environment for sustained elite performance in highly competitive environments.

  • Contribute to the development of the strategy and vision of the National Employee Assistance Program and provide leadership oversight of overall performance psychology and mental resilience programming
  • Design, develop, coordinate, and execute evidenced-based performance psychology and mental resilience offerings and resources for leaders, teams, and business functions
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) and provide sophisticated consultation across the firm in the areas of performance psychology and mental resilience across all levels
  • Derive internal best practices across businesses and lead the development and maintenance of quality standards at organizational and industry levels
  • Assist in the development of evaluation strategy, program evaluation protocol and analytic reporting
  • Direct the development of differentiated training curriculum and assume primary responsibility for education strategy, design, delivery, and evaluation of resources



  • Doctoral Degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D.) in behavioral sciences or related field
  • Minimum 12 years of post-doctoral, industry specific, applied experience
  • Credential in the incumbent’s field of practice (e.g.: Certified Mental Performance Consultant-CMPC)
  • Deep experience with corporate culture/professional services industry


  • Sub-specialty training in performance psychology
  • Exposure to either internal or external employee mental health support programs
  • Extensive experience working with elite performers in highly competitive environments
  • Comprehensive understanding of current trends in performance psychology industry
  • Experience in continuity of care planning
  • Conscientious adherence to confidentiality issues and ability to act in compliance with local, state, federal law and appropriate, industry guidelines
  • A high degree of attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Cultivated teaming capabilities and ability to work across organizational lines to solve complex problems
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication/facilitation skills engaging with audiences of all management levels
  • Strong executive presence
