Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

  • Will provide testing and triage support for a modernization project
  • Perform/support testing efforts of the new Java system and identify errors/defects with root cause analysis when errors or data mismatches occur.

QualificationsRequired

  • Public Trust Clearance is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
  • MUST OBTAIN A PUBLIC TRUST CLEARANCE
  • 5+ years of experience with ALC and Java code
  • Knowledge of IBM Assembler language to read code
  • Must have a strong understanding of Assembler (ALC, mainframe) and how it's used in the current production environment as well as understanding legacy data structures
  • Knowledge of Java standards and design patterns, debugging and defect triage ability, understanding of the codebase, and knowledge of key business processes
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York City, and Washington State and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,000 to $155,000. 

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Database and JAVA concepts and frameworks, and object-oriented design principles is a strong plus.
