Work you’ll do

You will be joining a Team leading the digital experience workstream within a larger, multi-year statewide engagement.

Collaborate with a cross-functional team to build and deliver custom-built software solutions
Develop responsive web front-end code using JavaScript libraries such as React and other top tier development technologies
Serve clients by building applications quickly & efficiently consume APIs and meet demanding performance and security requirements
Create a modularized set of front-end components that make it easier to maintain and reuse for future capabilities and applications
Be a flexible, self-starter, working collaboratively and independently to complete tasks
Exchange knowledge and work together to implement solutions across the full stack
Incorporate new technologies and tools to strengthen and sharpen your skills

The GPS Digital Customer offering helps public sector and higher education clients transform their businesses and customer interactions through innovative digital experiences. We work with our clients to create, design and deploy digital products that increase adoption and drive measurable results.

Qualifications

Required:

Experience and strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and ES6+ constructs
Experience and strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture
Experience developing with React and/or ES6 with NodeJS based tooling.
Experience developing REST services using NodeJS and/or Java Spring
Must be willing to be onsite at least 2 days per week

Preferred:

Experience with Contentful or any Content Management System
Practical DevOps knowledge with build jobs, containerization, and deploying web applications in the cloud
Experience developing APIs
Agile development on a scrum team
Test driven development and behavior driven development
