Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
- Candidate will lead the project and closely work with client to assist in program design understanding and translation to allow changes and deployment for the maintenance of programs.
- Candidate will be expected to demonstrate effective communication skills to interpret needs of clients though design documentation and work very closely with other Information Systems teams.
- Candidate is also expected to provide guidance and mentoring to other team members where necessary and work closely with leadership on work status.
- Candidate will be expected to collaborate with Offshore team and guide them on day to day tasks
- Plan, develop, test and implement IT system solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity as well as support business strategies and goals
- Identify and communicate business needs and translate business requirements into technical system and functional specifications
- Support one or more highly complex or critical business processes/systems and may require design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business
- Mentors others and may lead multiple or small to medium sized projects.
The Team
The US Systems Engineering Offering delivers large scale software applications and integrated systems and assists its clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. The practice aims at developing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems. It would focus on key client issues that impact the core business by delivering operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- 10-15 Years of experience in analyzing, designing, developing, testing and deploying software in Mainframe
- Expert with Mainframe Assembler, JCL, COBOL, IMS, DB2 and tools like IBM File Manager, Debug Tools, Endevor etc.
- Willing to work in a challenging environment and ready to work in offshore onshore engagement model.
- Project management skills using tools such as Agile, Jira and Kanban
- Healthcare experience is a must
- Ability to Travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred
