Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Atlanta, GA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

Work You’ll Do 

Drive advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data, to generate insights leveraging various platforms to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments for the insurance, financial services, healthcare, State and Local government, telecom, retail industries. Modernize our s business and core environments to leverage technology innovations across multiple platforms; drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise for continuous insights and improvements. Perform data management, such as master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, data modeling while utilizing technologies. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Lead various aspects of the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, which may include requirements gathering, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Develop "point-ofview" documents related to trending topics (such as cloud, machine learning, and the Internet of Things); quickly adopt emerging technological trends (such as predictive analytics, cognitive analytics, or machine learning) to develop creative solutions to pressing issues. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms; consolidate the inferences to present recommendations to senior management and executives to enable critical decision making.

Requirements 

Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Performing data management, such as master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, and data modeling utilizing Informatica, Stibo systems, Erwin and Spark frameworks;
  • Providing industry insight and analytical support using such data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools as Tableau, Qlikview, Weka, SAS, Machine learning algorithms, python and consolidating the inferences to present recommendations to senior management and executives;
  • Designing and implementing reporting and visualization for unstructured and structured data sets, utilizing Tableau, Qlikview, Looker, D3.js;
  • Working with Cloudera Hadoop, Informatica, Talend to create custom build objects in order to maintain the Data Governance process, policies and standards;
  • Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Analytics and Data Integration solutions for enterprise-level clients in the Healthcare Industry;
  • Developing BI/DW solutions for enterprise-wide reporting and building customized applications using Angular JS, Sencha, Tableau, Qlikview in a big data environment;
  • Building reports and data models using statistical tools such as Cassandra, MongoDB, Hive, Impala, Spark, kafka, Tableau, Qlikview, Looker based on performance measurement metrics, allowing for business and technical users to provide insights into the organizations data; and
  • Developing, testing, and automating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) procedures using Informatica, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Teradata, PostgresSQL to perform data warehousing and data integration functions.
