Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Austin, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments for clients in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, State and Local government, telecom, and/or retail industries. Modernize our clients business and core environments to leverage technology innovations across multiple platforms; drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise for continuous insights and improvements. Transform numbers and statistics into actionable information for clients by predicting, planning, and adapting business strategies. Design and develop data cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions involving standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching. Design database queries, triggers, procedures, functions and packages for reporting and data analytics. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Lead various aspects of the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, which may include requirements gathering, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents related to trending topics (such as cloud, machine learning, and the Internet of Things); quickly adopt emerging technological trends (such as predictive analytics, cognitive analytics, or machine learning) to develop creative solutions to pressing client issues. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms; consolidate the inferences to present recommendations to the clients, senior management, and executives for optimized data access and retention from various data warehouse to enable critical decision-making.

Requirements 

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following: Using SQL and Spark to lead the design and development of proof of concepts, prototypes, and solutions to ingest large, complex and sparse data sets to meet functional and nonfunctional

business requirements. Analyzing data using Python to identify trends and anomalies that translate into actionable business insights for clients and visualizing the results using Tableau. Technology architecture consulting, contributing to an end-to-end architecture and solution overview using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools. Building data pipelines using Airflow for automating and executing data processing workflows. Designing and developing data validation processes, performing data analysis and creating new data models by identifying gaps in the existing systems and rectifying data redundancies

and anomalies along with streamlining the data flow. Full-lifecycle Salesforce implementations using one of the following modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, App Cloud. Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver data analytics solutions that fully meet client needs. Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design, processes and environments using data architecture.
