Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Human Capital, HR Transformation in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

Transforming the way in which HR enables the business and workforce strategy, including HR strategy development, HR process re-engineering, HR operating model redesign, and services for HR and payroll-related technology solutions. Applying statistics models in order to discover and analyze trends in clients Human Capital area. Analyzing how employees performance is driven by business and market factors. Participating in data gathering/survey design to ensure that the obtained dataset best describes the overall population. Designing processes for data maintenance and integration between different platforms and ensuring data accuracy along with system efficiency. Forecasting movements in Human Capital practice of client to help them understand potential risks and derive a proactive plan. Presenting statistical results in meaningful ways with business reports and presentations. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Driving innovative and transformative solutions for global Fortune 500 companies that address their next generational needs. Conducting detailed analyses in focused specialty areas to draw conclusions, and developing pertinent and insightful recommendations based on structured frameworks. Utilizing critical and analytical thinking skills to assist in determining the requirements of clients projects and programs through defining, analyzing, and managing data sets to meet client needs and expectations. Guiding conversations with client workstreams to help determine the exact needs and expectations of the project and confirming these with client leadership. Providing guidance and direction to corporate clients on the product engagement of diverse consumers providing analytical insight into the needs of consumers with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Conducting detailed analyses in focused specialty areas, including Human Capital, compensation, and performance management to draw conclusions and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations based on structured frameworks using Extensible Markup Language (XML), Successfactors, and data analytical skills. Assisting in the implementation of various modules with regards to a general system from a Successfactors Business-to-Business Exchange (bizx) platform. Providing guidance and direction to clients on the product engagement of consumers by providing analytical insight into the needs of consumers with diverse backgrounds and perspectives using Thinktank and clients readiness assessment. Using Microsoft (MS) Powerpoint and Visio to generate clear, detailed, and effective written, visual, and oral content which is informed by research, analytics, and client meetings. Presenting on solutioning HR processes and system design in Successfractors Performance & Goal Management (PMGM), compensation, and employee central. Implementing Successfactors and data conversation using XML coding, Structured Query Language (SQL) for data query, and advanced Excel.

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field. Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation. Must have two years of experience with:

  • Conducting detailed analyses in focused specialty areas, including Human Capital, Compensation, and Performance Management to draw conclusions and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations based on structured frameworks using Extensible Markup Language (XML), SuccessFactors, and data analytical skills;
  • Assisting in the implementation of various modules with regards to a general system from a SuccessFactors Business-to-Business Exchange (BizX) platform;
  • Providing guidance and direction to clients on the product engagement of consumers by providing analytical insight into the needs of consumers with diverse backgrounds and perspectives using ThinkTank and clients readiness assessment;
  • Using Microsoft (MS) PowerPoint and Visio to generate clear, detailed, and effective written, visual, and oral content which is informed by research, analytics, and client meetings;
