Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Performance, Technology Services Optimization in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

Drive implementations of Cloud-based technologies by executing data cleansing, data conversions, and interface design and development. Enable end-to-end journeys from on-premise to Cloud, and lead design and development within various focus areas, including Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud strategy, Operations Model Transformation (OMT), Cloud development, Cloud integration and APIs (application programming interface), Cloud migration, Cloud infrastructure and engineering, and Cloud Managed Services (CMS). Lead various aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and resolutions of escalations and urgent issues. Design and develop data governance standards, roles, and responsibilities; design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion; and perform mapping and cleansing workshops to support system conversions to Cloud. Convert legacy data according to current systems’ data structure using data warehouse concepts, and design conversion strategies and mapping rules between legacy data and current system databases to facilitate data conversion. Create technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code to be used for application development. Track application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinate defect resolution efforts, and document resolution details. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimate time and resources needed for the development work.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Defining project approaches and leading the day-to-day execution of ServiceNow implementation activities across the entire solution delivery lifecycle, including requirement gathering, user story definition, process design, and assessment of business and launch readiness;
  • Leading Agile teams to implement and integrate ServiceNow’s IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Business Management (ITBM);
  • Developing detailed implementation plans for deploying ServiceNow functionalities including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and integrations; and establishing key project milestones and developing high-level architecture;
  • Managing all aspects of ServiceNow projects and workstreams, including monitoring and identifying project issues in order to mitigate risks;
  • Utilizing client scripts, business rules, and UI (User Interface) actions and policies on the ServiceNow platform in order to architect project solutions based on client requirements and implementation best practices for ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and integrations;
  • Engaging stakeholders to conduct reviews through joint design sessions, and using ITSM and Enterprise Service Management concepts and best practices to advise clients, team members, and partners;
  • Utilizing JavaScript, HTML5 (HyperText Markup Language), and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to deliver value to clients, and utilizing Simple Access Object Protocol (SOAP) and REST APIs (Representational State Transfer) to manage integration projects;
  • Conducting current-state ITSM maturity assessments and creating future-state models to identify gaps and create ITSM roadmaps;
  • Developing and reviewing required project documentation, including presentations, gap analysis reports, process flow diagrams, roles and responsibilities documentation, and process documents; and
  • Tailoring project deliverables within various client sectors, including the FSI (Financial Sector Industry), Technology, and Consumer industries.
