Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Using SAP products in providing solutions to stakeholders manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business requests. Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Performing SAP implementations, from business stakeholder sessions to post go-live support efforts. Perform interface development for the integration of SAP business applications with external systems. Drive the creation of technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Analyze as-is versus to-be state, perform gap analysis, and develop roadmaps. Estimate time and resources needed for the development work.

Requirements 

Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Engineering (Any), any STEM field, or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Driving software development and implementation services to address supply chain needs, utilizing Waterfall, Hybrid or SDLC (software development lifecycle) methodology;
  • Driving various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for SAP implementation, including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations and urgent issues using SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Materials Management (MM);
  • Leading the design, configuration, testing, and support of SAP PM to develop technical objects and reports;
  • Building, configuring, and monitoring interfaces to integrate SAP PM with 3rd party systems;
  • Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities by conducting workshops and using MS Excel and Visio;
  • Driving the design of SAP PM for integration and working with offshore development teams to develop solutions;
  • Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients utilizing HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), MS Office Suite, and MS SharePoint;
  • Designing Test scenarios for Functional, Integration and Regression testing, and building test data and performing testing using HP ALM; and
  • Leading business user training sessions on the SAP PM processes to assist the transition to a new system.
