Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 


Work You’ll Do 

Contribute in defining the engagement objectives, scope definition, work plan and activities between workstreams for SAP S4/HANA transformation initiatives in Consumer Products and Chemical Manufacturing industries. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of long-term SAP implementations, with activities including requirement gathering, application configuration, master data design, business process analysis, integrated testing, defect triage, disposition, and escalations. Architect master data solutions using SAP suite of applications and satellite partner systems and align the Master Data Management (MDM) vision to best support businesses. Assess and identify gaps and integration points for master data across modules including SAP Materials Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Transportation Management (TM) to build a comprehensive data conversion strategy. Design centralized, de-centralized, and federated data governance models and workflows using SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solution. Create frameworks and leverage toolsets including SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) and Information Steward for master data profiling, data harmonization, cleansing, and enrichment for successful execution of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Define system requirements, deployment strategies, and business continuity plans to ensure minimum business disruption for SAP implementations. Develop reporting and dashboard wireframes to enable communication and milestone tracking using HP ALM (Application Life Cycle Management) and Microsoft (MS) Teams.

  • 80% Travel required nationally.

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field. Two years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must have two years of experience with:

  • Monitoring data dependencies across SAP modules including, Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), and Warehouse Management (WM) to create sustainable data migration approach;
  • Developing data definitions, data quality, and data governance strategies across full cycle SAP S4/HANA transformation projects for master data initiatives;
  • Creating complex source and target data replication scenarios between Master Data Governance and SAP S/4HANA system;
  • Evaluating business’s IT infrastructure and data governance vision to determine the most suitable implementation option between hub, co-deployed, and hybrid deployment models for the Master Data Governance solution;
  • Integrating third party systems and custom applications with core sap s/4hana solutions focused around procurement, manufacturing, and transportation management processes for end-to-end supply chain experience;
  • Utilizing critical data migration tools and applications including SAP BODs, SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Cockpit (DMC), and InfoSteward to define system architecture;
  • Identifying gaps, and creating sustainable solutions of effective data governance and data quality standards; and,
  • Utilizing InfoSteward to collect descriptive statistics and other metadata attributes used for profiling source data and determining appropriate data transformation rules.
