Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Implement SAP Banking and SAP (AP) Accounts Payable projects including automatic payment program, payment terms, and cross media configuration to transfer XML (Extensible Markup Language) files to banks. Prepare functional specifications for SAP, ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming), and SAP Middleware developments relating to calculation of incentives, withholding of taxes, and accounts payable reports. Coordinate teams on PeopleSoft, Middleware, and SAP Basis to set up mapping and smooth transfer of data and resolution of mapping errors. Conduct training sessions for various key business users regarding Head office and Branch Office concept in ECC SAP Accounts Payable and provide solutions to business specific scenarios. Support projects by documenting all KDD (key design decisions) made during various meetings across business teams. Review Unit test documents prepared by team members to capture all business scenarios. Resolve critical issues faced by business during Hypercare and provide production support. Coordinate and establish proper Knowledge Transition to external SAP Support teams after implementation.

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept three years of university study and three (3) years of related work experience. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Configuring SAP AP and SAP Banking in SAP S/4HANA ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software for Retail and Automotive sectors;
  • Configuring payment methods, payment terms, and bank derivation for automatic payment processing for Banks using SAP AP;
  • Developing treasury functionality in SAP ERP software to configure financial instruments and develop automated accounting processes;
  • Capturing functional specifications, approvals, Unit testing, records of defects, incidents, and documents using Jira and Confluence;
  • Designing and testing SAP integration with Vertex on tax payables and taxes on purchases scenarios;
  • Developing functional specifications using ASAP (Accelerated SAP) methodology for integration with PeopleSoft system and other legacy systems;
  • Designing and testing invoice data transfer via Idoc (Intermediate document) from EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and Ariba to SAP; and
  • Developing reports according to business reporting guidelines by analyzing large volumes of data using Microsoft Excel.
