Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Performance, SAP  in Seattle, WA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

DRIVING BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION AND ON-GOING OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE FULL SUITE OF SAP SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS. SYNTHESIZING OVERALL OPERATIONS STRATEGY BY ANALYZING A WIDE VARIETY OF BUSINESS SOLUTIONS. SELECTING THE MOST RELEVANT TOOLS/TECHNIQUES TO MEET SPECIFIC CLIENT REQUIREMENTS SUCH AS BUSINESS CASE, PRICING, OR COMPLEX FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETING AND REPORTING ON OUTPUTS. PARTICIPATING IN SETTING ENGAGEMENT OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE, DEVELOPING WORK PLANS FOR COMPONENTS OF ENGAGEMENTS, COORDINATING ACTIVITIES BETWEEN WORKSTREAMS AND IDENTIFYING CHANGES IN SCOPE. PARTICIPATING IN VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE FULL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE FOR SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, WHICH MAY INCLUDING REQUIREMENTS GATHERING, APPLICATION CONFIGURATION DESIGN, BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSIS, SCRIPTING, CODE DEPLOYMENTS, ENHANCEMENT VALIDATION, TRIAGE OF DEFECTS AND CHANGE REQUESTS, ESCALATIONS AND URGENT ISSUES. EVALUATING CLIENTS' TECHNOLOGY NEEDS, DEVELOPING CUSTOMIZED APPLICATIONS AND DRAFT TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL DESIGN DOCUMENTATION. IDENTIFYING AND MITIGATING RISKS IN PROCESS AND TECHNOLOGY FOR CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS. DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING PROJECT DELIVERABLES FOR CLIENTS FOR ALL PHASES OF THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE TO SUBSTANTIALLY BUILD THE SYSTEM FUNCTIONALITIES. RESEARCHING USER REPORTED ISSUES WITH SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, IDENTIFYING ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENTING FIXES, AND LIAISING BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS. TRACKING APPLICATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS; COORDINATING DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENTING RESOLUTION DETAILS. PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. DESIGNING SUB-COMPONENTS OF LARGER APPLICATION SYSTEMS; INTEGRATING THE APPLICATIONS WITH EACH OTHER AND CONTINUOUSLY OPTIMIZING THE SYSTEM STRUCTURE TO IMPROVE STABILITY AND PERFORMANCE.

80% TRAVEL REQUIRED NATIONALLY.

Requirements

BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE OR A RELATED FIELD. TWO YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE OFFERED POSITION OR A POSITION IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST HAVE TWO YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • EXECUTING UNIT TESTING, INTEGRATION TESTING, FUNCTIONAL TESTING AND USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING; PREPARING AND EXECUTING CUTOVER PLANS AND PROVIDING POST GO LIVE SUPPORT;
  • TRANSLATING BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS INTO DETAILED FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS;
  • DELIVERING SAP PROJECTS LEVERAGING INTEGRATION KNOWLEDGE OF SAP MM/LE/WM WITH SAP CRM, SAP SD, SAP FI/CO, SAP APO AND SAP EM;
  • WORKING ON ADVANCED CONFIGURATIONS IN SAP MATERIALS MANAGEMENT, LOGISTICS EXECUTION AND PRODUCTION PLANNING MODULES IN SAP S4 HANA INCLUDING ENTERPRISE STRUCTURES, PURCHASE ORDER TYPES, ORDER PROCESSING, INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, PRICING, OUTPUT MANAGEMENT, MATERIAL MASTER DATA, PRICING, INTERCOMPANY TRANSACTIONS, ACCOUNT DETERMINATION AND BATCH DETERMINATION;
  • CONDUCTING TRAINING AND DEVELOPING USER TRAINING MATERIALS AND WHITEPAPERS;
  • CREATING AND EXECUTING TEST PLANS USING HP ALM/QC.
  • 80% TRAVEL REQUIRED.
