Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a SENIOR CONSULTANT, ENTERPRISE PERFORMANCE, SAP in BOSTON, MA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

DRIVING BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION AND ON-GOING OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE FULL SUITE OF SAP SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS. SYNTHESIZING OVERALL OPERATIONS STRATEGY BY ANALYZING A WIDE VARIETY OF BUSINESS SOLUTIONS. SELECTING THE MOST RELEVANT TOOLS/TECHNIQUES TO MEET SPECIFIC CLIENT REQUIREMENTS SUCH AS BUSINESS CASE, PRICING, OR COMPLEX FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETING AND REPORTING ON OUTPUTS. PARTICIPATING IN SETTING ENGAGEMENT OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE, DEVELOPING WORK PLANS FOR COMPONENTS OF ENGAGEMENTS, COORDINATING ACTIVITIES BETWEEN WORKSTREAMS AND IDENTIFYING CHANGES IN SCOPE. PARTICIPATING IN VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE FULL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE (SDLC) FOR SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, WHICH MAY INCLUDE REQUIREMENTS GATHERING, APPLICATION CONFIGURATION DESIGN, BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSIS (BPA), SCRIPTING, CODE DEPLOYMENTS, ENHANCEMENT VALIDATION, TRIAGE OF DEFECTS AND CHANGE REQUESTS, ESCALATIONS AND URGENT ISSUES. EVALUATING CLIENTS' TECHNOLOGY NEEDS, DEVELOPING CUSTOMIZED APPLICATIONS AND DRAFTING TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL DESIGN DOCUMENTATION.

  • 80% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM degree or a related field. Must have two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE AGILE AND WATERFALL LIFECYCLE TO DESIGN, DEVELOP, TEST AND IMPLEMENT SAP SOLUTIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS;
  • ANALYZING AND DOCUMENTING CURRENT-STATE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS TO SUPPORT PROJECT DESIGN OF FUTURE-STATE/TO-BE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS USING SAP SOLUTION MANAGER (SOLMAN);
  • INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZING CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATING REQUIREMENTS INTO SAP PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT FULLY MEET CLIENT NEEDS USING GAP ANALYSIS, AS-IS AND TO-BE DOCUMENTATION, BLUEPRINTING, AND ACCELERATED SAP (ASAP METHODOLOGY);
  • USING WATERFALL AND AGILE METHODOLOGIES FOR SAP S4 HANA SYSTEMS TO SUPPORT, PARTICIPATE IN, AND LEAD THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF SAP FINANCE (FI) PROJECT SOLUTIONS;
  • TRACKING AND REPORTING ON SAP PROJECT AND MILESTONE DELIVERABLE STATUS TO ENSURE TIMELY PROJECT DELIVERY AND COMMUNICATION OF UPDATES TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS USING JIRA, MICROSOFT (MS) PROJECT AND ADVANCED EXCEL;
  • COORDINATING THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES OF ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE TEAM MEMBERS TO ENSURE THE TIMELY AND QUALITY COMPLETION OF PROJECT DELIVERABLES;
  • USING HP ALM, JIRA, AND SAP SOLMAN TO SUPPORT, PERFORM, AND OVERSEE UNIT, SYSTEM INTEGRATION (SIT), AND USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING (UAT) TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SAP FI PROJECT SOLUTIONS;
  • DESIGNING AND DELIVERING SAP USER MANUALS AND TRAINING FOR FINANCE USERS TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION, ADOPTION AND MAINTENANCE IN CLIENT ENVIRONMENTS USING SAP SOLMAN;
  • SUPPORTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING SAP PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESPONSES TO REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS (RFPS) USING MS OFFICE.
  • 80% Travel required nationally.
