Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Performance, SAP in Houston, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do

DRIVING BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION AND ON-GOING OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE FULL SUITE OF SAP SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS. SYNTHESIZING OVERALL OPERATIONS STRATEGY BY ANALYZING A WIDE VARIETY OF BUSINESS SOLUTIONS. SELECTING THE MOST RELEVANT TOOLS/TECHNIQUES TO MEET SPECIFIC CLIENT REQUIREMENTS SUCH AS BUSINESS CASE, PRICING, OR COMPLEX FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETING AND REPORTING ON OUTPUTS. PARTICIPATING IN SETTING ENGAGEMENT OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE, DEVELOPING WORK PLANS FOR COMPONENTS OF ENGAGEMENTS, COORDINATING ACTIVITIES BETWEEN WORKSTREAMS AND IDENTIFYING CHANGES IN SCOPE. PARTICIPATING IN VARIOUS ASPECTS OF THE FULL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE (SDLC) FOR SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, WHICH MAY INCLUDE REQUIREMENTS GATHERING, APPLICATION CONFIGURATION DESIGN, BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSIS (BPA), SCRIPTING, CODE DEPLOYMENTS, ENHANCEMENT VALIDATION, TRIAGE OF DEFECTS AND CHANGE REQUESTS, ESCALATIONS AND URGENT ISSUES. EVALUATING CLIENTS' TECHNOLOGY NEEDS, DEVELOPING CUSTOMIZED APPLICATIONS AND DRAFTING TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL DESIGN DOCUMENTATION. RESEARCHING USER REPORTED ISSUES WITH SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, IDENTIFYING ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENTING FIXES, AND LIAISING BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS. PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE AGILE AND WATERFALL PROJECT DELIVERY OR SDLC FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SAP SOLUTIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS IN OIL AND GAS, TECHNOLOGY AND AERO SPACE INDUSTRIES. ANALYZING AND DOCUMENTING CURRENT-STATE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS TO SUPPORT PROJECT DESIGN OF FUTURE-STATE/TO-BE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS USING BUSINESS BLUEPRINT, BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT (BRD'S), AS-IS & TO-BE PROCESS MODEL, REQUIREMENT TRACEABILITY MATRIX (RTM) AND USER STORIES. INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZING CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATING REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT FULLY MEET CLIENT NEEDS USING CONTEXT DIAGRAM, REQUIREMENT MANAGEMENT PLAN AND FUNCTIONAL DECOMPOSITION. USING BRD'S, RTM, FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION (FRS)/FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATION DOCUMENT (FSD), SYSTEM REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATIONS (SRS)/SYSTEM REQUIREMENT DOCUMENT (SRD), TEST CASE AND SAP SOLUTION MANAGER (SOLMAN) TO SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATE IN THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS. TRACKING AND REPORTING ON PROJECT AND MILESTONE DELIVERABLES STATUS TO ENSURE TIMELY PROJECT DELIVERY AND COMMUNICATION OF UPDATES TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS USING MICROSOFT (MS) PROJECT, SAP SOLMAN, ACCELERATED SAP (ASAP) METHODOLOGY AND SAP ACTIVATE. COORDINATING THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES OF ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE TEAM MEMBERS TO ENSURE THE TIMELY AND QUALITY COMPLETION OF PROJECT DELIVERABLES. USING HP QUALITY CENTER (HPQC) HP APPLICATION LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT (ALM), SMARTBEAR AND SERVICENOW TO SUPPORT AND PERFORM UNIT TESTING, SYSTEM INTEGRATION TESTING (SIT), USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING (UAT) AND HYPERCARE TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS. DESIGNING AND DELIVERING USER MANUALS AND TRAINING FOR SOLUTIONS TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION, ADOPTION AND MAINTENANCE IN CLIENT ENVIRONMENTS USING INTEGRATE TECHNOLOGY DEPLOYMENT WITH CHANGE MANAGEMENT (CM). SUPPORTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESPONSES TO REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS (RFPS) IN VARIOUS SAP PACKAGE TECHNOLOGIES INCLUDING SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ARIBA SOURCE-TO-PAY (S2P) APPLICATIONS.

Requirements

BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE OR A RELATED FIELD. TWO YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE OFFERED POSITION OR A POSITION IN A RELATED OCCUPATION.
