Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Performance, Oracle in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

 

Work You’ll Do 

Drive Oracle software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the Insurance, Financial Services, Healthcare, State and Local Government, Telecommunications, and Retail industries. Work to improve their ability to react in the digital world and enable innovation and scalability, remove performance barriers, modernize core systems, and reimagine their business with Oracle-based solutions. Participate in setting Oracle engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Drive the development and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging Oracle-based solutions and Cloud-based or On-Premise platforms. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet Oracle architecture and infrastructure goals. Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link their IT programs to organizational goals, while utilizing Oracle-based solutions. Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions; drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytical expertise, and providing offerings for continuous insights and improvements. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.

Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following: 

  • Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to design, develop, test, and implement Oracle Supply chain and Financial modules of Oracle eBusiness Suite ERP applications, including Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C) and Plan to Manufacture (PTM) business processes for enterprise-level clients;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments, utilizing Oracle Supply chain and Financial modules, including Purchasing (PO), Payables (AP), Payments (IBY), Order Management (OM), Inventory (INV), Receivables (AR), Cash Management (CE), General Ledger (GL), Bill of Materials (BOM), Work In Process (WIP), Advanced Supply chain planning (ASCP), Trading Community Architecture (TCA), and Oracle Governance Risk and Compliance Controls Suite (Oracle GRCC), including Application Access Controls Governor (AACG) and Preventive Controls Governor (PCG) modules;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, utilizing Oracle Supply chain and Financial modules;
  • Creating design workshop content, functional specifications, cutover plans and configuration documents, utilizing Application Implementation Methodology (AIM) and Microsoft (MS) tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio to communicate project tasks for implementation of Oracle Supply chain and Financial modules; 
  • Designing and Developing Project solutions, including interfaces, data conversions and application extensions and Reports utilizing TOAD, SQL Developer, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and Oracle BI Publisher; 
  • Utilizing HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) to perform and oversee User acceptance testing, System Integration Testing, Unit Testing and Regression Testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions; 
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing SharePoint and MS Project; 
  • Coordinating project activities of onshore and offshore team members to ensure the timely and quality completion of project deliverables, utilizing SharePoint and Advanced MS Excel; 
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments, utilizing Oracle Supply chain and Financial modules, MS word and MS PowerPoint. 
  • 80% travel required nationally.
