Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Enterprise Performance, Oracle in Houston, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

 

Work You’ll Do 

Drive Oracle software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the Insurance, Financial Services, Healthcare, State and Local Government, Telecommunications, and Retail industries. Work to improve their ability to react in the digital world and enable innovation and scalability, remove performance barriers, modernize core systems, and reimagine their business with Oracle-based solutions. Participate in setting Oracle engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Drive the development and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging Oracle-based solutions and Cloud based or On-Premise platforms. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet Oracle architecture and infrastructure goals. Help manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond, helping to link their IT programs to organizational goals, while utilizing Oracle-based solutions. Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions; drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytical expertise, and providing offerings for continuous insights and improvements. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.

Requirements 

Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Accounting, any STEM field, or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept three (3) years of university study and three (3) years of related work experience. Must have two (2) years of experience with:

  •  Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall methodology project delivery or software development lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions for enterprise-level clients
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments using Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM), and Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM)
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs using Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM), and Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM).
  • Using Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials, Oracle E-Business Suite (On premise) and Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub to support, participate in, and lead the design and development of project solutions
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders using Microsoft Project, Status Reporting, PowerPoint, and Advanced Excel
  • Coordinating the project activities of onshore and offshore team members to ensure the timely and quality completion of project deliverables
  • Using inclusive test scripts, Microsoft TFS & JIRA to support, perform, oversee types of testing including System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Load and Smoke Testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments using MS Visio and other Microsoft office tools.
