Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Customer & Marketing, Digital Customer in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Lead the evaluation of technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Perform assessments of existing information systems, and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Design sub-components of larger application systems; integrate software applications with each other and continuously optimize the system structure to improve stability and performance. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation.

Requirements

BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM FIELD, OR A RELATED FIELD AND TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST ALSO HAVE TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING: WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE AGILE AND WATERFALL PROJECT DELIVERY AND SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SALESFORCE.COM PLATFORM FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZE CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATE REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT SATISFY CLIENT NEEDS; UTILIZING AGILE PROJECT MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES PRODUCT BACKLOG MANAGEMENT AND SPRINT PLANNING, AND CREATING AND ESTIMATING USER STORIES FOR THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOLUTIONS UNDER LARGE SCALE TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS; PERFORMING SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT IN SALESFORCE DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENTS AND WEB SERVICE TESTING USING JAVA, APEX, VISUALFORCE, SALESFORCE OBJECT QUERY LANGUAGE (SOQL), SALESFORCE OBJECT SEARCH LANGUAGE (SOSL), LIGHTNING, HYPERTEXT MARKUP LANGUAGE(HTML), CASCADING STYLE SHEETS (CSS), JQUERY, AND JAVASCRIPT TRACKING AND REPORTING ON PROJECT AND MILESTONE DELIVERABLES STATUS TO ENSURE TIMELY PROJECT DELIVERY AND COMMUNICATION OF UPDATES TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS USING JIRA, SALESFORCE TRACKER AND SERVICENOW; COORDINATING THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES OF ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE TEAM MEMBERS TO ENSURE THE TIMELY AND QUALITY COMPLETION OF PROJECT DELIVERABLES UTILIZING VSTS, MICROSOFT TEAMS, JIRA. DESIGNING AND DELIVERING USER MANUALS AND TRAINING FOR SOLUTIONS TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION, ADOPTION, AND MAINTENANCE IN CLIENT ENVIRONMENTS.
