Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Customer & Marketing, Digital Customer in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

 

Work You’ll Do 

Develop and design architecture for business processes by gathering functional requirements from business stakeholders and providing end-to-end solution of systems to development team using Microsoft Visio. Gather business requirements and provide estimates of effort in terms of hours per resource to complete the development of proposed solution using Microsoft excel tools. Design and develop integration processes to deliver proposed solutions by connecting various applications including salesforce, NetSuite, MYSQL Database, Oracle database and other applications using Dell Boomi. Analyze proposed design, integration approach, and build robust jobs to ease client access and management of their systems. Provide post development interface support and manage client enhancement requests to deliver end-to-end working systems, test delivered solutions, and ensure completion of User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Identify and capture test case scenarios and results using HPQC (HQ Quality Center). Deliver design flow, functional and technical specifications, and testing documentation using Agile and Waterfall Methodology. Track project deliverables using Jira and create associated documentation. Design and maintain coding standards to enhance application development and maintenance.

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements 

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Designing, developing, deploying and maintaining integration processes between applications across cloud and on premise using Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform which includes Cloud Integration, Application Integration and Enterprise Web Services APIS (Application Program Interfaces);
  • Managing, monitoring, troubleshooting and supporting existing EAIS (Enterprise Application Integrations), SOAS (Service-Oriented Architectures) and Dell Boomi AtomSphere Platforms;
  • Building Service Oriented and discoverable Web Services and API’s (Application Programming Interfaces);
  • Collaborating with various cross functional teams to define and determine integration requirements, address integration challenges to meet established timelines, deliver service within budget constraints, and seek ways to reduce application related cost;
  • Contributing in evolving a customer’s EAI and SOA vision by implementing methodologies and procedures conforming to standard patterns and practices;
  • Interfacing with both internal and external technical experts to drive system solutions, provide development team with EAI technical subject matter expertise, and ensure development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority and business objectives;
  • Establishing best practices in services development, integration of applications and governing detailed designs generated by the vendors;
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress in completing engagements and accomplishing goals; and
  • Driving organizations to improve data integrity for company-wide Analytics.
