Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Customer & Marketing, Commercial Excellence and Experience in Phoenix, Arizona and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Design and implement sales and service experiences, capabilities, and architectures and synthesizing overall operations strategy. Selecting relevant tools/techniques to meet client requirements such as business case, pricing, or financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participating in aspects of the full SDLC for software applications, from requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations to urgent issues. Evaluating clients' technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for client engagements. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Developing dashboard wireframes and designing requirements with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Developing and maintaining project deliverables for clients for all phases of the SDLC to build the system functionalities. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Researching user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, for application development. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools; coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Designing sub-components of larger application systems; integrating the applications with each other and continuously optimizing the system structure to improve stability and performance.

Requirements 

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation. Must have two (2) years of experience with:

  • Working across all phases of the SDLC and project delivery lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of Salesforce Cloud-based CRM enterprise application solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Collaboration and Change Management and Continuous Integration tools;
  • Using Salesforce Force.com platform, sales cloud, service cloud, community cloud, apex, lightning and VF for the design and development of solutions;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders using reporting tools like Atlassian JIRA, Confluence;
  • Coordinating the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks;
  • Using Apex testing framework to perform unit testing, regression testing, and end to end (UI) testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions;
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments using tools like Salesforce trailhead and/or in-person training; and
  • Supporting business development activities including proposal development and responses to requests for proposals.
