Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant, Core Business Operations, Operations Transformation in Parsippany, NJ and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Identify, verify, analyze, and implement process improvement and re-engineering opportunities. Lead process team to achieve desired results and assist in development of new process capabilities. Facilitate the design of new and improved process models and organizational structures. Identify No-Tech and Low-Tech improvement opportunities with target process models and implementation plans. Identify Process Changes, Organizational Changes, and Behavior Changes while enabling capabilities for Decision and Rules Management, Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and Workflow Automation (WFA). Train and guide resources in process improvement techniques. Translate business rules into Business Data Models (BDM) including workflow steps, rule families, associated glossary, and sample business rule exception messages. Test decision model either through auto generated test cases or by loading test data.

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Working across all phases of project delivery lifecycle including designing, developing, testing, and implementing business technology solutions for enterprise-level clients in the Financial Services industry;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders in gathering functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using requirements management tools including IBM Rational ClearQuest and Jira;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders using MS Project;
  • Coordinating the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks; and
  • Performing software development project-related responsibilities utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, Business Requirements Document (BRD), Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools including IBM Blueworks Live and MS Visio, and Project Management tools including communication plans and RACI Matrix.
  • 80% travel required nationally.
