Senior Business Program Specialist (Compensation) 

Work you’ll do

The Senior Business Program Specialist will support and contribute to specific program activities, technologies, and operations for Rewards Recognition & Well-being: Compensation team. Will assist in the design, development, and implementation of improved program designs and operations, technologies, and activities.  Under direction of Management, measure effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of assigned programs and establish policies and procedures to ensure compliance with program strategies and objectives.
  • Delivers and administers specific program services under supervision of management.
  • Assists in the development of program objectives, policies, and procedures. Forecasts and estimates program requirements for specific program services under supervision of management.
  • Conducts analysis and evaluation of projected and actual effectiveness of current or proposed program activities.  Prepares reports, presentations, and research using statistical and narrative data for communication/presentation to management.
  • Recommends, implements, and monitors changes in work processes to ensure performance outcomes are achieved.  Prepares various reports on program outcomes and progress.
  • Participates in special projects related to business programs.  Identifies opportunities for process improvements and redesigns related to assigned program.
  • Completes special assignments and projects for senior management.  Specific RRWB projects to include, but not limited to: Annual Compensation Cycle, Thank it Forward program, Special Projects, HXM Support and other Administrative Support.
The individual selected for this role must have excellent project management skills and the ability to think both strategically and tactically. 

The team
The Compensation team is a part of the Rewards, Recognition and Well-being team within the Talent organization. The team collaborates with the business and various stakeholders to provide strategic insight into compensation and rewards. The team advises, implements and executes the rewards strategy and total compensation approach across all Deloitte businesses which includes a Base Salary Program, an Annual Incentive Program (AIP) and a Recognition Program. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills; SharePoint; Microsoft Teams
