Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior 1, DC Platforms, Organic Platforms, in Atlanta, Georgia and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

DRIVE SOFTWARE ADVISORY AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES TO HELP UNLOCK THE VALUE OF TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS AS DISCRETE SERVICES OR COMPREHENSIVE SOLUTIONS. PERFORM ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, IDENTIFY GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES, AND

PROVIDE APPLICATION ANALYSIS TO MEET SOFTWARE ARCHITECTURE AND INFRASTRUCTURE GOALS. DEFINE SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOP SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, DESIGN, PROTOTYPE, TEST CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORT SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. DESIGN SUB-COMPONENTS OF LARGER SYSTEMS, INTEGRATE THE APPLICATIONS WITH EACH OTHER, AND OPTIMIZE SYSTEM STRUCTURE TO IMPROVE STABILITY AND PERFORMANCE. RESEARCH USER REPORTED ISSUES WITH SOFTWARE SYSTEMS, IDENTIFY ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENT FIXES, AND LIAISE BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS. TRACK IMPLEMENTATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS, COORDINATE DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENT RESOLUTION DETAILS. PARTICIPATE IN SETTING ENGAGEMENT OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE, DEVELOP WORK PLANS FOR COMPONENTS OF ENGAGEMENTS, COORDINATE ACTIVITIES BETWEEN WORKSTREAMS, AND IDENTIFY CHANGES IN SCOPE. PROVIDE INDUSTRY INSIGHT AND ANALYTICAL SUPPORT USING DATA MINING, PATTERN MATCHING, DATA VISUALIZATION, AND PREDICTIVE MODELING TOOLS TO PRODUCE ANALYSIS AND ALGORITHMS THAT HELP BUSINESSES MAKE BETTER DECISIONS.

Requirements

BACHELOR'S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENGINEERING (ANY), OR A RELATED FIELD AND TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST ALSO HAVE TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING: DEFINING THE STRUCTURE FOR SOFTWARE ANALYTIC SOLUTIONS FOR KEY STAKEHOLDERS, HIGH-LEVEL INTERACTIONS, CAPABILITIES, USER STORIES, AND BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS BY ESTABLISHING AGILE-SCRUM SET-UP; DESIGNING EPICS AND USER STORIES AND MAINTAINING A PRODUCT BACKLOG IDENTIFYING PRIORITIES FOR PRODUCT RELEASES, UTILIZING JIRA AND HP QUALITY CENTER (HPQC); CONDUCTING SPRINT PLANNING AND GROOMING SESSIONS TO DEFINE PROJECT SCOPE AND DELIVER BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS WHILE ENGAGING WITH THE CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS AND LEADING WORKING SESSIONS AND WEEKLY CHECKPOINTS WITH MANAGEMENT, STAFF, AND DOWNSTREAM TEAMS; REVIEWING AND REFINING ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA OF THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS BY INCORPORATING BUSINESS AND TECHNICAL RULES, AND THROUGH GAP ANALYSIS; COACHING TEAMS ON METHODOLOGY, FRAMEWORKS, TOOLS, AND TEMPLATES AND PROVIDING INPUTS TO DOWNSTREAM TEAMS OF USER INTERFACE (UI) DESIGNERS, SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE, DEVELOPMENT, AND TESTING; CREATING AND PRESENTING PRODUCT AND ARTIFACT PERSONA TEMPLATES TO BUSINESS USERS AND STAKEHOLDERS AND ESTABLISHING THE USERS NEEDS, EXPERIENCES, BEHAVIORS, AND GOALS, UTILIZING MICROSOFT (MS) POWERPOINT; CREATING TEST STRATEGIES AND IDENTIFYING SCOPE BASED ON DATA MODELS, SOURCING TO TARGET MAPPING OF COLUMNS, AND TRANSFORMATIONS BETWEEN SYSTEMS, INCLUDING SQL (STRUCTURED QUERY LANGUAGE), SAP HANA, AND INFORMATICA FOR ETL (EXTRACT, TRANSFORM, LOAD); VERIFYING AND VALIDATING SYSTEMS AGAINST THE BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS WHILE MAINTAINING TRACEABILITY, MANAGING TEST EXECUTIONS AND DEFECT MANAGEMENT CYCLES, UTILIZING JIRA AND HPQC; ASSESSING THE IMPACT ON THE CURRENT SYSTEM WITH RESPECT TO THE COST, TIME OF DEVELOPMENT, AND REQUIRED NUMBER OF RESOURCES IN COLLABORATION WITH THE STAKEHOLDERS; AND DEMONSTRATING PRODUCT CAPABILITIES OF THE DEVELOPED FEATURE AND FUNCTIONALITY TO STAKEHOLDERS AND PRODUCT OWNERS, UTILIZING MS POWERPOINT.
