Work you’ll do 

Scrum Master to provide mission critical support our federal client’s mission by adopting and applying advanced exploitation methods, emerging technologies, and sound tradecraft. We are building a team that aims to adapt, design, deliver, and integrate advanced technology solutions to improve data sharing, exploitation, and analysis. This role performs project management tasks to coordinate and prioritize user stories for implementation by team members. This role provides Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics generation and analysis in order to track overall efficiency of software delivery across team. Finally, this role facilitates horizontal communication across team member to identify any impediments that may prevent team progress while working mitigation plans as needed.

As a Scrum Master you will:

  • Interface with clients and other project stakeholders to lead the delivery of product releases
  • Track the progress of release schedules across the contract and oversee the generation and dissemination of the weekly project status report
  • Coaches scrum teams in all areas (including sprint reviews and planning), milestone tracking, holding daily stand-up meetings, and collaborating with engineering, product management, and quality control departments to ensure the project is completed according to specifications.
  • Facilitate contract-wide Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective ceremonies
  • Proactively manage and mitigate risks and issues across Scrum team
  • Elicit, analyze, document, help prioritize, and manage requirements from multiple stakeholders

Qualifications 

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI
  • 1-5 years of technology consulting or other relevant industry experience (Minimum of 1 - 3 years in an Agile environment serving as a ScrumMaster)
  • Proficient with Agile Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. Jira, Rally, VersionOne, etc.), as well as with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools
  • Participate in / facilitate discussions to discover solutions, as well as capturing and transforming business and technology requirements into high-quality User Stories and Acceptance criteria
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, or SSM)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with CLM, TFS and Remedy
  • SAFe Certified
  • Team-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidate willing to relocate and/or travel to DC Metropolitan area post full clearance adjudication
