Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Technical Lead

Deloitte Digital offers services that enable client solutions using digital technologies, including the Web, Mobile, Social Networking, Digital Strategy, Digital Content and Digital ERP. The Digital Web team works with clients to advise, design, implement and deploy eCommerce and Portal solutions.
Our eCommerce capabilities provide transactional solutions related to online marketing, sales and service; for both Direct-To-Consumer and Business-to-Business. Our Portal capabilities provide intranet and internet solutions focused on content presentment and transaction capabilities for both internal enterprise as well as customer facing purposes.

Work you’ll do
- Ownership of workstream technical design and delivery of solutions to clients
- Coordinate with the Project Manager & Businesses Stakeholders during project setup, on-boarding and planning activities
- Gathering business requirements and translate them into a technical solution
- Lead a team of developers and/or client developers and specialists to meet specific client requirements
- Work with offshore teams for solution architecture, estimates, delivery etc.
- Create key architecture documentation and deliverables for specific workstreams
- Lead the development team to drive end to end solution delivery taking full responsibility of technical design of Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions
- Update management team on overall project, risks, and technology issues and propose suitable alternatives
- Provide assessments and recommendations on the design of ecommerce systems, while integrating components built by developers and ensuring architectural integrity of the system

Qualifications:
Required
- 5+ years of IT experience
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) eCommerce platform
- 1+ years of experience with Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA)
- Experience with server side and client-side JavaScript
- Experience with GIT source control and collaboration tool such as JIRA, Confluence, Slack
- Experience in design and development of third party (backend) integration, and should be able to implement the new cartridge for new vendors with SOAP or Rest API calls
- Experience with object-oriented programming, deep understanding of the deployment considerations specific to SaaS based cloud server
- Experience with ERP and Payment System Integration
- Experience with HTML, CSS/SASS, XML, JSON web development technologies
- Creating and maintaining code documentation
- Ability to travel 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred
- Salesforce Certifications are a plus
- Experience working in a professional services firm or working in a client service environment
- Experience with Order Management System Integration
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems Integration
