Position Summary

Consulting Sales Excellence – Proposal Content and Analytics Specialist, DC Enabling Senior Consultant (PCOE Pursuit Studio)

Location: Continental United States, Virtual, East Coast preferred for time zone coordination

Work You’ll Do:

As a Proposal Content and Analytics Specialist, you will work within the Pursuit Studio’s Asset Management group, supporting the Pursuit Studio team and the larger Firm by developing reusable, proposal-ready assets and content. You will also support any reporting and analysis necessary related to predicting trends in content/asset needs and to prioritizing their development.

  • Support Asset and Content Management
  • Support the Asset and Content Manager
  • Work with assets in Qvidian, Sharepoint, Teams, and other repositories as identified to keep them maintained and updated
  • Work to further our RFP automation goals for Qvidian and potential automation of other PCOE assets
  • Review, edit, format, catalogue, and upload content into our repositories
  • Work with owners of content in our repositories to keep it updated on a regular schedule
  • Learn and grow into the development and architecture tasks related to our repositories
  • Be committed to continuous improvement as we grow the virtual support model
  • Support Reporting and Analysis
  • Work with team reporting resources to meet the reporting needs of the Proposal Studio, under guidance from the team lead
  • Use data analysis to identify additional asset and content needs
  • Support Qvidian reporting needs – they are still being developed and will evolve over time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, with demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Critical thinker
  • Highly attentive to detail
  • Good at figuring out technology (persistence)
  • Problem solver
  • Strong analytic ability (including experience working in excel)
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Ability to synthesize multiple sources of information into clean, succinct paragraphs
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and confidence to work with and present to senior leadership
  • Experience with proposal writing is preferred
  • Experience with Qvidian and/or other proposal automation tools highly preferred
  • Consulting and/or Process background nice to have
  • Eastern or Central time zone (for ease of coordination)
 

The Team

The U.S. Consulting Pursuit Center of Excellence (PCOE) team is dedicated to the success of the firm’s sales efforts as they are defined by Deloitte Consulting leadership. The team supports sales success by driving continuous improvement in sales effectiveness which is executed through two channels:

1) Commitment to bring the best resources and capabilities to pursuits, and

2) Applying lessons learned to enhance learning and development of client service staff. 

The team works with client pursuit teams to refine the sales strategy, establish and execute an organized pursuit plan, and deliver a high quality and innovative proposal and orals presentation. Value is delivered through challenging and improving the sales process to free the client service team to focus on the client problem and our solution. To extend services more broadly across Consulting, the PCOE established a virtual RFP Response Support organization, called the Proposal Studio.
