Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a SPECIALIST SENIOR, STRATEGY & ANALYTICS, ANALYTICS & COGNITIVE in Philadelphia, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

LEVERAGING ANALYTICS, ROBOTICS, AND COGNITIVE TECHNOLOGIES TO UNCOVER HIDDEN RELATIONSHIPS FROM VAST TROVES OF DATA, CREATING AND MANAGING LARGE-SCALE ORGANIZATIONAL INTELLIGENCE, AND GENERATING INSIGHTS THAT CATALYZE GROWTH AND EFFICIENCIES. DIRECTING LARGE TECHNOLOGY ENGAGEMENTS AND PARTICIPATING IN PROJECTS INCLUDING IDEATION, IDENTIFICATION, PLANNING AND COST ESTIMATION THROUGH REQUIREMENTS, DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING, IMPLEMENTATION AND PRODUCTION. PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, AND IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. CREATING TEST CASES AND PERFORMING FUNCTIONAL, NON FUNCTIONAL, SYSTEM INTEGRATION (SIT), BLACK-BOX, WHITE-BOX, AND END-TO-END TESTING OF SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS. RESEARCHING USER REPORTED ISSUES, IDENTIFYING ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENTING FIXES, AND LIAISING BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS. CREATING TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE, TO BE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT. WRITING FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND USE CASES, CREATING PROCESS FLOW DIAGRAMS AND FINALIZING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS. TRACKING APPLICATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS, COORDINATING DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENTING RESOLUTION DETAILS.

  • 80% Travel required nationally.

Requirements 

BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM DEGREE, OR A RELATED FIELD. TWO YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE OFFERED POSITION OR A POSITION IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST HAVE TWO YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE AGILE AND WATERFALL PROJECT DELIVERY LIFECYCLE FOR DESIGNING, DEVELOPING, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTING MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT (MDM), DATA ANALYTICS, DATA WAREHOUSING (DW) AND EXTRACTION, TRANSFORMATION, & LOADING (ETL) SOLUTIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS;
  • ANALYZING AND DOCUMENTING CURRENT-STATE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS TO SUPPORT PROJECT DESIGN OF FUTURE-STATE/TO-BE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS USING MICROSOFT (MS) EXCEL, MS TEAMS, AND SHAREPOINT;
  • INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS IN GATHERING FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZING CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATING REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT FULLY MEET CLIENT NEEDS USING MS EXCEL;
  • USING INFORMATICA MDM, ORACLE, RELTIO, INFORMATICA ETL AND ERWIN TO SUPPORT THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS;
  • TRACKING AND REPORTING ON PROJECT AND MILESTONE DELIVERABLES STATUS TO ENSURE TIMELY PROJECT DELIVERY AND COMMUNICATING UPDATES TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS USING MS PROJECT AND JIRA;
  • COORDINATING THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES OF ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE TEAM MEMBERS TO ENSURE THE TIMELY AND QUALITY COMPLETION OF PROJECT DELIVERABLES;
  • USING MANUAL TESTING, HP APPLICATION LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT (ALM), JIRA AND SOAPUI TO PERFORM UNIT TESTING TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS;
  • DESIGNING AND DELIVERING USER MANUALS AND TRAINING FOR SOLUTIONS TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION, ADOPTION AND MAINTENANCE IN CLIENT ENVIRONMENTS USING INFORMATICA MDM, RELTIO, ORACLE, AND ERWIN; AND
  • SUPPORTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESPONSES TO REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS (RFPS).
