Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a SENIOR SOLUTION SPECIALIST, STRATEGY & ANALYTICS, ANALYTICS & COGNITIVE in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

Work You’ll Do 

PARTICIPATE IN PROJECTS INCLUDING IDEATION, IDENTIFICATION, PLANNING AND COST ESTIMATION THROUGH REQUIREMENTS, DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING, IMPLEMENTATION AND PRODUCTION. PERFORM ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND IDENTIFY GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. DEFINE SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOP SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, PROCESSING DESIGN, PROTOTYPING, AND TEST CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, AND SUPPORT SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. CREATE TEST CASES AND PERFORM FUNCTIONAL, NON-FUNCTIONAL, SYSTEM INTEGRATION, BLACK-BOX, WHITE-BOX, AND END-TO-END TESTING OF SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS. RESEARCH USER REPORTED ISSUES, IDENTIFY ROOT CAUSES AND RESOLUTIONS, IMPLEMENT FIXES, AND LIAISE BETWEEN BUSINESS FUNCTIONS, END USERS, AND TECHNICAL DELIVERY TEAMS. CREATE TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING SCREEN LAYOUTS, NAVIGATION FLOWS, LOGIC DIAGRAMS, DATA MODELS, PROCESS MODELS, AND PSEUDO CODE, TO BE USED FOR APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT. WRITE FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND USE CASES, CREATE PROCESS FLOW DIAGRAMS AND FINALIZE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS. PERFORM CONCEPTUAL AND TECHNICAL DESIGNS, INCLUDING THE USE OF OBJECT-ORIENTED ANALYSIS AND DESIGN TECHNIQUES.

Requirements 

BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, ANY STEM FIELD, OR A RELATED FIELD. TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST HAVE TWO (2) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH:

  • WORKING ACROSS ALL PHASES OF THE AGILE AND WATERFALL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLES FOR THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DATA ANALYTICS, DATA QUALITY, DATA MANAGEMENT AND DATA MODERNIZATION SOLUTIONS FOR ENTERPRISE-LEVEL CLIENTS;
  • ANALYZING AND DOCUMENTING CURRENT-STATE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS TO SUPPORT PROJECT DESIGN OF FUTURE-STATE/TO-BE SYSTEMS, PROCESSES AND ENVIRONMENTS USING ERWIN DATA MODELER, DATA MODELS (INCLUDING STAR, SNOWFLAKE AND HYBRID), DATA SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN DOCUMENTS;
  • INTERFACING DIRECTLY WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO GATHER FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS, ANALYZE CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, AND TRANSLATE REQUIREMENTS INTO PROJECT DESIGNS TO DELIVER SOLUTIONS THAT FULLY MEET CLIENT NEEDS USING DATA MODEL, DATA QUALITY, MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT AND DATA INTEGRATION TECHNOLOGY METHODOLOGIES;
  • USING INFORMATICA, INFORMATICA DATA QUALITY, TRILLIUM, ORACLE, TERADATA, PYTHON, PERL AND UNIX TO SUPPORT, PARTICIPATE IN AND LEAD THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS;
  • TRACKING AND REPORTING ON PROJECT AND MILESTONE DELIVERABLES STATUS TO ENSURE TIMELY PROJECT DELIVERY AND COMMUNICATION OF UPDATES TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS;
  • COORDINATING THE PROJECT ACTIVITIES OF ONSHORE AND OFFSHORE TEAM MEMBERS TO ENSURE THE TIMELY AND QUALITY COMPLETION OF PROJECT DELIVERABLES; O USING SQL, ORACLE, BUSINESS RULES AND DATA QUALITY RULES TO SUPPORT, PERFORM AND OVERSEE SYSTEM INTEGRATION TESTING, DATA INTEGRITY TESTING, USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING AND BUSINESS RULE VALIDATION TESTING TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECT SOLUTIONS;
  • DESIGNING AND DELIVERING USER MANUALS AND TRAINING FOR SOLUTIONS TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION, ADOPTION AND MAINTENANCE IN CLIENT ENVIRONMENTS USING MICROSOFT VISIO; AND
  • SUPPORTING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESPONSES TO REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS.
