Work You'll Do

The Solutions Network, SAP Senior Solution Engineer will be responsible for providing technical subject matter specialty in designing, architecting, installing and configuring SAP applications and databases supported by the Solutions Network.  It is required for this position to be in either Gilbert, AZ or Lake Mary, FL. This will also be part of the larger SNET SAP team which includes Philadelphia - PA, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, Mumbai, Gurgaon – India. This position will be focused on supporting the client engagements requiring SAP product suite implementation, migration, upgrade of SAP applications and database needs for developing go to market solutions.  Supported systems will span all flavors of Windows, UNIX, and Linux along with SAP cloud and other cloud service provider platforms

  • Strong understanding of Agile process and best practices
  • Solid understanding in SAP FI, CO, SD, MM and/or PP Modules
  • SAP ABAP experience, including 2 - 3 full project life cycle implementations and enhancements / continuous improvement projects with strong core ECC and S/4HANA ABAP skills
  • Proven communication, presentation, team-leading & soft skills

In addition to hands-on technical work, this position will require providing assistance to project teams with design, upgrades, performance tuning, systems stabilization, documentation development and the creation of client deliverables. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 7+ years of experience as SAP ABAP Developer.
  • Specially looking for candidates who have experience of working with business / clients and can independently drive a technical solution.
  • Should be good in RICEF, IDOCS, ODATA, Web services.
  • Able to understand integrations, attend and take active part in workshops and arrive at an OO design
  • Strong in module pool and interfaces and having hands on experience.
  • Good in S4 HANA experience.
  • Able to work independent and handle customer and project deliverables on own.
  • Able to understand SAP business process/data flow/functional specifications related to SAP modules and explain them to the Functional Team.
  • Experience in ALE-IDOC- Configuration, Custom development, Workflows.
  • Should possess knowledge of commonly used Middleware for SAP interfaces with Other system
  • Experience in development of interfaces in SAP modules SD, MM, WM, FICO


Preferred:

  • Consulting background in providing both technical delivery and advisory services in a senior role
  • Excellent track record of delivering SAP upgrades, migrations and other ABAP related projects
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build ‘Trusted Adviser’ relationships
  • Willingness to travel 50% a year minimum
  • Hands-on Experience in participating in technical Business Blueprint discussions for gathering requirement, Interface designing, writing high level Design document and presenting to client for sign off. SAP S/4HANA on Cloud deployments or migrations is a plus
  • Prior Big-4 consulting experience is a plus
  • Experience working in a client facing environment
  • Experience and discipline to work and succeed in a fast pace and organizationally complex environment, to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology, and to lead and manage small projects
