Work you’ll do 

This individual will lead a team of practitioners serving a federal security agency's active incident response team within the client's Watch Tower. This team is responsible for delivering analytic products for stakeholders.  Additionally, the incident response team evaluates current analytic processes and recommends efficiencies. This team also participates in building new capabilities.


The incident response project lead will work directly with client executives and engineering teams to drive designs for the modernization of business processes and to integrate with cloud technologies/platforms.  The project lead will organize and plan the development of systems engineering documents, such as technical reference models, to guide the technical development of tools and provide support to quick turn incident response events.  

The duties of the project leaders include but are not limited to:


  • Review, digest, and triage interagency analytic requests for support. 
  • Develop action plan and lead the development analytic products
  • Develop analytic requirements
  • Design platforms that allow interoperability between existing legacy environments.
  • Create, co-design, and co-develop solutions in partnership with Analysis Division and interagency partners
  • Perform data processing activities that support creation; curation; dissemination/information sharing; standardization; and decommissioning of data
  • Capture data management business needs and develop recommendations; implement; and operate and maintain long-term architecture solutions
  • Review and evaluate a program’s approach to data architecture
  • Review and develop data architectures support mission needs



  • 7+ years experience in federal security and/or cybersecurity environments
  • 7+ years experience in data analytics
  • 7+ years experience in business process automation
  • 7+ years experience in crisis and/or incident response
  • 7+ years experience in project leadership
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility 
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to onsite in Rosslyn, VA


  • Experience with data engineering and architecture concepts
  • Work with customer/business owners for gathering/developing requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree
