- As a Release Train Engineer (RTE) you will be the facilitator for Agile Release Train (ART) consisting of five product teams in accordance with Agile principles and SAFe core values.
- With this role you will lead the development efforts by conveying the vision of the portfolio, outlining, and prioritizing work based on creating business value.
- As the RTE you will liaise with stakeholders to drive product road mapping ensuring their interests are included in the release or iteration cycle.
- You will also coordinate with the various product teams within your ART and other ARTs that are part of the Solution Train.
- You will assist Business Owners and Product Management in work prioritization and decision-making.
- You will also ensure that team members understand project objectives, maintain product and portfolio backlogs, and release planning.
- You will also facilitate productivity by setting up meetings and removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the Program Increment objectives.

- Coach ITPMs on team events and practices
- Coach ART roles
- Drive relentless improvement
- Leverage SAFe core competency self-assessments
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management on process and flow improvements

Qualifications
Required:
- TS/SCI security clearance is required for this role
- SCRUM Master Certified
- 3+ years of experience as a SCRUM Master --OR-- 1+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple Agile teams
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Experience leading SAFe or SAFe for Government certified (SAFe 5.0 minimum)
- Release Train Engineer Certified
- Experience with Product Management
