Work you’ll do 

Deloitte is seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) in support of a scaled agile portfolio initiative with our client. As a Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will facilitate an agile release train (ART) consisting of 5 - 7 product teams in accordance with agile principles and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) core values. With this role, you will lead the development efforts by conveying the vision of the portfolio, outlining and prioritizing work based on creating business value. As the RTE, you will liaise with stakeholders to drive product road mapping ensuring their interests are included in the release or iteration cycle. You will assist Business Owners and Product Management in work prioritization and decision-making. You will also ensure that team members understand project objectives, maintain product and portfolio backlogs and release planning.

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required 
  • Ability to travel 25% or more based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve 
  • 4+ years’ of experience

Preferred: 

  • Experience leading multiple agile teams
  • Scrum Master Certified
  • Leading SAFe or SAFe for Government certified (SAFe 5.0 minimum)
  • Release Train Engineer Certified
  • Experience with product management
