Work you’ll do 

Support a wide range of Agile Release Management support activities to assist in successful application development solutions. This includes:

  • Responsible for facilitating and integrating activities within program release activities to include identification of dependencies without and across teams as well as cross program dependencies
  • Develop materials for and facilitate client planning sessions, support operations functions of these sessions (e.g., meeting notes, logistics, action items)
  • High frequency of client interactions (including Program Director, Release Manager, and Project Manager) with regular meeting facilitation, materials preparation, and strategic thinking required 
  • Coordinate across a large Deloitte support team and several client organizations to support definition and execution of program strategy
  • Participate in the delivery process by assisting in the decomposition of epics and user story dependency mapping, release and deployment activities to include integration across internal products and with external partners and systems

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Support Agile Release Planning processes and integrated Release Plan artifact development, including backlog prioritization and grooming
  • Schedule, plan and facilitate all iteration planning, cadence and demonstration meetings;
  • Support product backlogs grooming and common agile delivery performance measures such as burn-up and burn-down charts;
  • Assist the IRS and the Agile coach/coaches in implementing and executing Agile methodologies to include backlog grooming, reporting and barrier removal
  • Work within the current security framework (current system security plans, system categorization and the privacy impact assessments and any other documents considered mandatory by the Agency’s Chief Information Security Office (CISO).
  • Participate in joint reviews to refine Product Backlog, i.e., backlog grooming to ensure backlogs are defined at least 2 iterations beyond current work
  • Promote Web Apps operating model practices to include utilizing test-driven development
