Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
- Currently, working with our project team and our investment client being part of a traditional Agile scrum team developing greenfield capabilities in AWS cloud, where you must have experience with cloud-native development, and familiarity with serverless, event-driven architecture.
- This is an effort to maintain and enhance the systems health and to support new project efforts for the Investment Management business of the client.
- In your role as the Project Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for development, testing and deployment of code through our CI/CD pipeline. You will be part of a scrum team and will work on highest priority tasks, and those tasks may vary (e.g., you might build a Python Lambda on sprint, then configure a new AWS service in the next, etc.)
- Strong communication and coordination skills are a must as you will be working directly with clients.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
The Developer will be part of a traditional Agile scrum team developing greenfield capabilities in AWS cloud. Strong candidates will have cloud-native development experience, and familiarity with serverless, event-driven architecture. You will be responsible for development, testing and deployment of code through our VG CI/CD pipeline.

Our operate services within CTO include:
- Foundry Services: Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement
- Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience with Python, and Java development
- 5+ years of experience AWS development experience
- 5+ years of JavaScript and HTML/CSS, GIT/Gerrit)
- 5+ years of experience with Golang
- 5+ years of experience with Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, Kinesis, EventBridge, API Gateway, Step Functions, etc.
- Good at engaging Business stakeholders and apt at Business engagement and requirement discovery
- Effective communication and listening skills
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Must be able to work onsite in Malvern PA, or Charlotte, NC
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
