Pursuit Lead Specialist – Tax/Legal Business Services

Work you’ll do

As a Pursuit Lead Specialist, you’ll use your skills and experience to:  
  • Develop and maintain a library of sales collateral and tools, including proposal and presentation templates, placemats, and case studies.
  • Lead project management for pursuits and strategic projects, from orchestrating the development of deliverables to coordinating teams around key workstreams and activities.
  • Transform strategic thinking and win themes into persuasive messages and deliverables that differentiate Deloitte, such as proposals, unsolicited written responses, and oral presentations.
  • Collaborate with client service teams to write and/or edit client-facing deliverables. Draw from a variety of sources, including information from research profiles, your own interviews with client service team members, debriefs from client meetings, and an understanding of the business and Deloitte’s offerings.
  • Use proposal development software to generate baseline proposal documents, tailoring as appropriate.
  • Contribute to developing Deloitte’s Legal Business Services pursuit team, including collaborating with other pursuit team members, marketing, and communications. Support continuous refinement and improvement of pursuit strategies, processes, tools, and templates, and act as a project-by-project liaison between our team and the broader organization.
Qualifications 

Required 
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, humanities, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in business-to-business communications and/or strategic marketing communications directed to Fortune 500 organizations; experience in a professional services environment preferred.
  • Excellent communicator, writer, and editor, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience leading teams in strategic discussion.
  • Experience with project management for complex, multi-dimensional projects.
  • Excellent relevant writing samples.
  • Fluency with MS Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Travel of approximately <10%, or as dictated by pursuit demand.
Preferred 
  • Pursuit and proposal management experience in a Big 4 or professional services environment a plus.
