Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Denver, CO and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

Work You’ll Do

Drive software development and implementation services to unlock the value of big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams, and identify changes in scope. Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation, and identify and mitigate processes and technology risks. Perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Design sub-components of larger application systems, integrate software applications with each other, and continuously optimize system structure to improve stability and performance. Define systems strategy and develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation.

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements 

BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENGINEERING (ANY), OR A RELATED FIELD AND TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. MUST ALSO HAVE TWO (2) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • ANALYZING BUSINESS REQUIREMENT DOCUMENTS AND PRODUCING DETAILED TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION PROJECTS, USING MS (MICROSOFT) OFFICE;
  • COLLABORATING WITH TEAMS IN CHALLENGE SESSIONS TO CONFIRM THE REQUIRED DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS FOR CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS IN THE PIPELINE FOR FUTURE DELIVERY;
  • DEVELOPING APPLICATION PROGRAMS CONFORMING TO PRE-APPROVED TECHNICAL DESIGN DOCUMENTS, UTILIZING MULTIPLATFORM TECHNOLOGIES INCLUDING JAVA, J2EE (JAVA PLATFORM, ENTERPRISE EDITION), HIBERNATE, ORACLE, SALESFORCE LIGHTNING COMPONENT FRAMEWORK, APEX, AND JAVASCRIPT;
  • PERFORMING UNIT TESTING WITH JUNIT AND DBUNIT, AND DOCUMENTING TEST RESULTS;
  • RESOLVING DEFECTS AT VARIOUS STAGES OF THE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE INCLUDING INTEGRATION, SYSTEM, AND USER ACCEPTANCE (UAT) TESTING USING THE FINDINGS REPORTED IN IBM RATIONAL CLEARQUEST, JIRA, AND MICRO FOCUS ALM (APPLICATION LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT);
  • COLLABORATING WITH MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS TEAMS TO ANALYZE AND RESOLVE ISSUES REPORTED BY USERS, UTILIZING JIRA;
  • AND IDENTIFYING AND RESOLVING TECHNICAL ISSUES AS THEY ARISE THROUGHOUT THE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE, USING MS SCRIPT DEBUGGER, ECLIPSE, APACHE TOMCAT, OR GOOGLE CHROME DEVTOOLS.

Annual Salary: $122,000 - $128,100
