Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Specialist, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Nashville, TN and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Deliver large, complex systems development and transformation projects to human service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies. Partner with clients to transform service delivery, and transform how clients deliver services to customers. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Create test cases and perform functional, non-functional, system integration (SIT), black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Create project charters, schedules, and plans, define project tasks, allocate resources, and monitor project progress. Research user reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Create technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code to be used for application development. Write functional and technical system requirements and use cases, create process flow diagrams, and finalize system requirements. Perform conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) techniques. Track application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinate defect resolution efforts, and document resolution details. Work across all phases of the waterfall project delivery or software development life cycle for the design, development, testing, and implementation of web-based applications solutions for enterprise-level clients. Analyze and document current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments using Java and HP OpenText Exstream. Interface directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs using Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop. Use Java and HP OpenText Exstream to support and participate in the design and development of project solutions. Track and report on project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate the project activities of onshore and offshore team members to ensure the timely and quality completion of project deliverables. Use Selenium, Quick Test Professional (QTP), and Unified Functional Testing (UFT) to support and perform manual testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions. Design and deliver user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments. Support business development activities, including proposal development and responses to requests for proposals (RFPs).

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM degree, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Working across all phases of the Waterfall project delivery or software development life cycle (SDLC) for the design, development, testing, and implementation of web-based applications solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes, and environments using Java and HP OpenText Exstream;
