Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Specialist, Core Business Operations, Systems Engineering in Indianapolis, IN and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

Work You’ll Do 

Designing, implementing, and operating solutions for custom-developed systems, platform integration, and application modernization to enable core business capabilities. Assessing and diagnosing problems analyzing the interactions between key drivers. Developing solutions to client problems through application of personal experience and standard methods and tools. Validating solutions with subject matter experts. Understanding the key components and tracking progress against work plan and identifying potential issues while staying focused on identified priorities. Defining clear business objectives and desired outcomes to guide own work and the work of others. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Functioning as integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients’ business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the design, development, testing and implementation of Web-based Applications, Data Analytics, and Oracle solutions for enterprise-level clients. Interfacing directly with client stakeholders in gathering functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs using Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, IBM Rational RequisitePro and MS Visio. Using Java, C, C++, Structured Query Language (SQL), Procedural Language for SQL (PL/SQL), MS Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript) and Selenium to support, participate in, and lead the design and development of project solutions. Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders using Atlassian Jira, MS SharePoint, and IBM Jazz. Coordinating the project activities of onshore and offshore team members to ensure timely and quality completion of project project deliverables. Using Selenium, HP Quality Center (HPQC)/HP Application Life Cycle Management (ALM), Quick Test Professional (QTP)/Unifed Functional Testing (UFT), IBM Jazz and AutoIT to support, perform, and oversee System, Integration, Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Interface Testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions. Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments using MS Office Suite, Rational RequisitePro and MS Visio. Designing and delivering user manuals and training to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments. 

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements 

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM degree, or a related field. Two years of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation. Must have two years of experience with:
