Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Senior Analyst, Customer and Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Detroit, MI and various unanticipated locations nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Transforming how clients deliver services to customers. Delivering large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies. Partnering with clients to transform service delivery to those most in need. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitoring project progress. Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) techniques. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for designing, developing, testing and implementing of Web-based application solutions for enterprise-level clients. Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments using Microsoft (MS) Office and Visio. Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Joint Application Development (JAD), Business Assessment Review (BAR), and Jama. Using Java, Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), JavaServer Pages (JSP), Java Servlets, HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Extensible Markup Language (XML), eXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Apache Log4j, and Rapid-application development (RAD) to support, participate in and lead the design and development of project solutions. Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders using IBM Rational ClearQuest, IBM Rational ClearCase, Bitbucket, Jira, Jama, Git, and ShareFile. Coordinating the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks. Using JUnit, Apache JMeter, and SOAP to support, perform, and oversee the following types of testing to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions: unit, integration, Quality Assurance Testing (QAT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression and performance testing. Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments. Supporting business development activities, including proposal development and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM degree or a related field. One year of experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation. Must have one year of experience with:

  • Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for designing, developing, testing and implementing of Web-based application solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments using Microsoft (MS) Office and Visio;
