Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Manager, Enterprise Performance, Oracle in Pleasanton, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including Oracle software implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant Oracle tools/techniques to meet specific requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Manage and deliver work plans, coordinate with onshore teams on requirements and resolution of queries, manage activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff. Improve internal processes and promote Oracle knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability; design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth. Assist with client presentations and proposal creation as required.

Requirements

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressive related work experience. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Leading workstreams to implement financial transformations in Record to Report (RTR), Acquire to Retire (ATR), Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH), Procure to Pay (PTP), and Order to Cash (OTC) process areas by analyzing industry leading practices and selecting the most relevant business solutions using Oracle ERP Cloud or EBS applications to meet specific business requirements;
  • Managing onsite and offshore teams on requirements, queries, deliverables, activities between workstreams, and changes in scope or requirement, utilizing tools including HPALM and JIRA;
  • Leading design workshops to evaluate As-is and To-be business processes and diagramming process flows using Visio and ARIS, client-specific solutions based on industry leading practices, and modernizing core systems and reimagining their business with Oracle solutions;
  • Recording functional and technical requirements in requirement traceability matrix (RTM), identifying business processes and objects like Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Extensions & workflow (RICEW) components, and preparing business blueprint documents;
  • Managing project teams and project delivery, including identifying and tracking Risks, Action items, Issues and Decisions (RAID logs) using HPALM and JIRA;
  • Writing and creating Functional Design Documents for Integrations, Extensions, Reports, and Conversions using standard Oracle documentation methodologies, including Business Requirement Configurations (BR100) document;
  • Coordinating with various teams to work across various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle including High level design, Conference Room Pilot (CRP), Detail Design, Build, Testing, and Deployment of solution in production environment, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies;
  • Managing test scenarios, cases, scripts, plans, and scheduling, logging defects, and generating test execution reports utilizing HPALM and Jira Xray;
  • Identifying sales opportunities, responding to request for proposals from client, and assisting with client presentations and proposal creation; and
  • Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff.
