Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Manager, Enterprise Performance, Oracle in Milwaukee, WI and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including Oracle software implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant Oracle tools/techniques to meet specific requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Manage and deliver work plans, coordinate with onshore teams on requirements and resolution of queries, manage activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff. Improve internal processes and promote Oracle knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Evaluate the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability; design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensure business growth. Assist with client presentations and proposal creation as required.

Requirements

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree and five years of progressive related work experience. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Managing large scale Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Cloud implementations, upgrades, and application managed services projects during operate phase for Oracle Financials and Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM);
  • Utilizing Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM) and Oracle Unified Method (OUM) to implement core Oracle Project Accounting modules, including project billing, project costing, project management, resource management, and project manufacturing on Cloud platforms and Oracle Financial Modules, including Account Payables (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Fixed Assets;
  • Conducting requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, Agile Sprint Sessions, System Integration (SIT) and User Acceptance (UAT) testing sessions for complex business processes;
  • Managing deliverables of offshore team members and ensuring on-time completion and quality of project deliverables;
  • Managing work plans and onshore teams on requirements and resolution of queries, managing activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Projects;
  • Managing day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers;
  • Assisting with client presentations and proposal creation as required; and
  • Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
  • 80% travel required nationally.
