Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Project Delivery Manager 1, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Seattle, WA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 

Work You’ll Do 

Manage information technology projects including development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, and testing to deployment, as discrete services or comprehensive solutions; manage and deliver components of engagements, including managing teams that may participate in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures within the full software development lifecycle; perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff; perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work; and improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 80% Travel required nationally
  • Telecommuting permitted.



Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, any STEM field or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative the employer is willing to accept a Bachelors degree and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as noted above. Must have three (3) years of experience with:

  • Planning and executing project phases involving analysis, design, construction, and quality review and integrate development modules within existing modules using MS Azure DevOps and MS Visual Studio using Agile development practices;
  • Designing applications and performing coding and unit testing, supporting quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance to deploy for smoother implementation;
  • Providing functional expertise on benefits system implementation including premiums, claims, payments, re-determination, fraud and appeals;
  • Creating necessary SSIS (SQL Server Integration Service) packages and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) web services to integrate with different systems, analyzing business problems and determining solutions, and gathering business requirements into system technical architecture documents;
  • Developing and implementing using MS Visual Studio, Microsoft ASP.NET, Microsoft C#, LINQ (Language Integrated Query), Microsoft Entity Framework (MS Entity), Windows ] Communication Foundation (WCF), API and MS SQL Server;
  • Leading production support activities to understand production issues and perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) by utilizing the following tools: AppInsight, Dynatrace, MS IIS Logs (Internet Information Services), Event Logs and SCOM (System Center Operations Manager) monitors, and performing walkthrough of RCA and proposing short term and long-term mitigation;
  • Defining release schedule including creating Release Candidate (RC), end-to-end, performance, and security testing, and production deployment activities;
  • Performing SAST (Static Application Security Testing) and DAST (Dynamic Analysis Security Testing) on the application code using tools such as Veracode and HP WebInspect, and mitigate security findings in the application code;
  • Manage, execute and review system performance testing activities using on premises test rig (controller/agent scenarios) and MS Visual Studio web test/load profiles; and
  • Utilizing best DevOps (development and operations) practices such as CI/CD (Continues Integration/Continue Deployment), Continuous Delivery, automated release management and Incremental testing using MS Azure DevOps.
