Work you’ll do

As a Research/Evaluation Resource Pool Solution Specialist in the Organizational Transformation practice of Deloitte’s USDC Human Capital group, you will perform the following job responsibilities:

  • Align and support our core RICCE values (Respect, Inclusion, Community, Commitment and Excellence)
  • Develop survey questionnaires and program survey tool into survey software; manage the fielding of survey tool, including monitoring responses and sending reminders.
  • Manage and analyze survey data using statistical software such as R, SAS, SPSS, or similar
  • Conduct data quality reviews and basic analysis on performance measure data
  • Conduct in-person or video interviews following semi-structured interview guide
  • Lead focus group discussions, using facilitation skills to encourage broad engagement and sharing of meaningful insights
  • Analyze performance measures and develop summary reports highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations
  • Conduct thematic or other qualitative analysis to identify key themes and draw insights from interview and focus group discussion notes or transcripts, including use of qualitative analysis software such as MaxQDA or similar
  • Review program documents to extract key insights and inform programmatic recommendations; Develop succinct information materials based on insights
  • Synthesize data analysis findings into succinct reports, including data visualizations
  • Conduct literature reviews and report findings in comprehensive reports
  • Participate in presentations to other functional groups within the firm and engage in eminence-building activities within our practice

The Team 

The Organization Transformation practice is about transforming the organization to support its business strategy. This involves helping our clients move from where they are today to where they need to be in the future. It could include changing the organization’s culture, modernizing specific functions, re-designing the organization structure, and will require a combination of change management actions to execute the transformation.  To enable our success, it will be critical to use data and insights to inform better ways of working together. 


Qualifications  

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience with supporting social science research and/or program evaluation
  • 3+ years of experience in social science research and evaluation methods, including both quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Experience developing logic models and evaluation plans, evaluation data collection instruments/measures, and working with evaluation stakeholders
  • Training and practical experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection, data analysis, and report writing
    • Quantitative methods include, but not limited to: Developing survey instruments; Developing and fielding surveys using tools such as Qualtrics or Survey Monkey; Analyzing survey data using appropriate statistical methods
    • Qualitative methods include, but not limited to: Designing study protocols and data collection tools for interviews, focus groups, ethnographic studies, etc; conducting interviews and focus group discussions; conducting qualitative analysis; familiarity with qualitative analysis software (e.g. Nvivo, MAXQDA, Dedoose)
  • Experience managing large data sets and conducting structured data quality reviews
  • Experience managing and analyzing large data sets
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, operationalizing, and analyzing program performance measures
  • Experience developing high-quality evaluation reports, data visualizations, and other research related protocols/documents
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Must be willing to live in, or within a commutable distance to the Gilbert, AZ, Mechanicsburg, PA or Lake Mary, FL delivery center(s)

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Ability and willingness to acquire U.S. Security Clearance preferred but not required
