Work you’ll do
- Lead the Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Fleet Introduction Team (FIT) for Link 16 and Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT) to include the following tasks:
- Run biweekly team meetings using Microsoft TEAMs to include: creating agendas, generating and tracking action items, and writing and distributing meeting minutes.
- Plan and coordinate training events on a biannual (in-person) and monthly (virtual) basis or as needed.
- Manage the TTNT Community of Interest contact list.
- Manage the TTNT FIT Sharepoint repository (NIPR) to include keeping all training material and references up to date and managing a proper access list to training material.
- Manage the SIPR repository for TTNT references to include keeping references up to date and properly managing the access.
- Assist the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case managers with the Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO) release process for TTNT training materials to countries with approved Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases.
- Collect, collate, and document TTNT lessons learned and best practices from platform integration, test events, exercises, demonstrations etc.
- Brief TTNT 101 course, as required.
- Identify new requirements for training opportunities or other roles for TTNT FIT. Assist in development of new courseware as required.
- Interface with Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) community and TTNT Platforms on training requirements regularly.
- Assist in the initiation, development and stand-up of new JTRS Fleet Introduction Team (FIT) to include the following tasks:
- Development and management of Microsoft TEAMs channel for internal JTRS FIT members.
- Development and management of JTRS FIT Sharepoint repository.
- Initiate and run biweekly team meetings with agendas, generate and track action items, and write and distribute meeting minutes.
- Manage the development of new JTRS courseware/training briefs and references by JTRS SMEs and review/plan dry runs of all new course material.
- Plan and coordinate JTRS training events at an established frequency.
- Coordinate and communicate regularly with Fleet Sustainment Team to ensure avoidance of any duplication of efforts and ensure collaboration when required.
- Collect and document JTRS lessons learned and best practices from platform integration and test events.
- Develop and manage the JTRS Community of Interest contact list.
- Identify new requirements and training gaps that JTRS FIT could fill.
- Compile Joint fielding and terminal development strategies and recommend associated priorities.
- Compile configurations and associated capabilities for both fielded and in-development NDI Link-16 terminals.
- Collect fielding/modernization data from Services via DOD CIO.
- Coordinate with Force Mod & MPO Platform Reps to develop cohesive fielding plan.
- Leverage SoS analysis testing and reports to inform fielding plan strategies.
- Collect cost and schedule data on Service modernization and fielding plans, and maintain a history of such data.
- Work with platform Program Offices and Joint Staff to get cost data from DOD Service Resource Sponsors.
- Overlay cost data with associated fielding and modernization plans.
- In conjunction with the PSA, make policy recommendations and develop roadmaps to support the development and maturity of the waveform and associated applications.
- Develop Link-16 roadmap to illustrate campaigns and mandates to compare to overall fielding plan.
- Collate additional lead service tasks and products to make informed recommendation for roadmap development to support the Warfighter.

Qualifications
Required:
- Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this opportunity.
- Bachelor's degree is required
- At least three (3) years of experience directly supporting federal clients within the government enterprise.
- User experience with Link 16/Tactical Data Links or TTNT
- Experience building briefs and making recommendations to federal clients required.
- Experience supporting Program(s) of Record (PoR).
- Knowledge and familiarity of government organization and DoD System Acquisition Lifecycle.
- Candidates must be local to San Diego, CA.
- Expected travel may be up to 10%.
- Active TS/SCI is preferred
- Familiarity with Internet Protocol (IP) networks
- Able to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Self-starter with a bias for action; able to work independently on tasks with little supervision
- Should demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
