Position Summary

Product Marketing Manager (Deloitte Consulting – New Business Innovation - Hybrid Businesses)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to play in this role. 

We are looking for an experienced product marketing professional to join our growing Hybrid Business Marketing Strategy team. This team serves as the trusted marketing advisors for Deloitte Consulting’s New Business Innovation team. In this role, you will oversee the development of business positioning, value proposition, messaging and go-to-market strategies for new firm offerings and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B technology product or software marketing and/or B2B professional services marketing, with the ability to connect the dots between the rest of the commercial marketing and sales organization to deliver coordinated go-to-market strategies and drive awareness and consideration of new Deloitte Consulting asset enabled services.

What you’ll do:

You will work closely with business leadership across Marketing and New Business Innovation to lead product marketing efforts to:

  • Translate unique product services offerings and value propositions from business strategy development into specific messaging to target customers
  • Identify the buyer personas and target audiences for the technology service offerings
  • Assess competitive landscape to determine overall positioning in the marketplace
  • Successfully create and carry out naming, branding, and messaging to inform sales and marketing content development and comprehensive go-to-market channel strategy to drive and nurture leads
  • Identify unique targeted pre-awareness marketing opportunities to showcase and further validate the product service offerings
  • Capture results and conduct metrics and ROI analysis to assess success and inform campaign optimization
  • Build relationships and collaborate cross-firm with other teams within marketing, product, sales, alliances, New Business Innovation, and key business leaders to drive go-to-market goals

Other responsibilities:

  • Innovation – Bring innovative product marketing thinking and leading practices to all marketing activities; ability to both think big and execute
  • Strategy – drive strategic discussions around messaging development and marketing planning
  • Project Management – Possess proactive and strong organization skills to drive development, maintenance, and execution of marketing campaigns, working closely with our internal Green Dot Agency
  • Content Creation - Draft a variety of different types of content, including but not limited to messaging, internal communications, sales materials, etc. Manage and facilitate creation strategy and asset creation.
  • Social and digital media – Create and implement social and digital plans for campaigns and activations
  • Event support - Can include planning logistics, invitations, registration, conference materials, and on-site assistance to create a compelling client experience
  • Internal communications – Collaborate with Internal Communications around development of communications, education and training of key internal audiences 
  • PR – Collaborate with PR team to drive media relations and media coverage when applicable

  • 8+ years of relevant corporate B2B product marketing experience. Experience in B2B software or technology product marketing preferred; experience in B2B professional services marketing also beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing or a related business or technology field
  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing and communications strategies and how they come together to provide measurable results
  • An innovative mindset that can think strategically with a willingness to execute tactically
  • Strong organizational skills and project management skills – with ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills 
  • Strong persuasive written and verbal communication skills – able to expertly position and tell compelling stories around our offerings and influence both internal and external audiences
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve


  • Experience in B2B software or technology product marketing preferred; experience in B2B professional services marketing also beneficial
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team; experience in large corporate settings and/or professional services a plus 
  • Familiarity with cloud, AI, and cyber technologies are a plus
  • Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while possessing a high level of comfort with ambiguity 
  • Experience with advanced analytics and using campaign data and sales data to determine priorities and measure effectiveness
  • Proficient in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate to advanced skills in PowerPoint are a plus) 
  • Proficiency in Workfront a plus
