Position Summary

PRICE TO WIN Manager - Government & Public Services

The Sales Excellence team seeks a Price to Win (PTW) Manger who will work with the extended Government and Public Sector (GPS) organization to deliver competitor assessments and price-to-win target recommendations for deals in the Federal and Public Sector markets

Work you’ll do:

In this role, you will lead the develop and deliver analyses and recommendations to capture teams and senior decision makers. The position involves collecting data and using a wide variety of techniques and tools to project likely competitor pricing, customer non-cost scoring outcomes and competitor bid strategies. The position requires performing RFP-specific analyses on competitive cost, price trends, and historical bid price points to develop price-to-win targets (top down and bottoms up). You will also work with the information services team to develop related datasets and databases. You will help create reports and visualizations to provide insights for competitive advantage.

The successful candidate will possess:

      Strong written and oral communication skills

      Experience working independently as well as collaboratively across large teams

      The ability to develop detailed knowledge of customer buying patterns and competitor bid tendencies

      Strong analysis and critical thinking to assess competitor strategies/capabilities and the resulting impact on pricing with the objective of guiding successful bidding strategies

      The ability to translate data into insights

Arlington, VA preferred; other Deloitte office locations or remote considered. Minimal travel required.



      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently, as well collaboratively in a virtual team environment, while managing multiple priorities and tasks

      5+ years experience in conducting decision-worthy competitor intelligence and competitive assessments

      5+ years experience with conducting top down and bottoms up priced-to-win analyses and counseling proposal teams on price strategy for $100M+ bids

      Combination of technical and business experience that enables the candidate to project competitor solutions and associated pricing for complex opportunities

      Demonstrated ability to craft and deliver clear, concise, and impactful presentations that provide actionable intelligence and recommendations

      Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or Math

      Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

      U.S. Citizen


      Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and experience with pricing in a Federal government environment supporting various contract types

      Experience with working with diverse datasets, designing data tables to normalize data, and working with extended team to design dashboards and reports for providing insights from the data

      Knowledge of the business development process, including phases and gates

      Master’s degree in Analytics, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or Math
