Position Summary

Power, Utilities & Renewables SI Workstream Lead Sr. Consultant

Role Description:

  • Lead overall solution integration, infrastructure, and testing teams
  • Manage SI scope, schedule, budget, resources, governance, reporting, risks, and issues
  • Lead an Onshore/Offshore delivery team
  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
  • Maintain high standards of quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
  • Support Functional team to design and validate new processes using technical viewpoint
  • Oversee/Lead the collection and documentation of user’s technical requirements and associated development of user stories
  • Manage and assign tasks to team members and report on a weekly basis
  • Lead the design, development, and unit test of solutions in accordance with established standards.
  • Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
  • Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
  • Assess opportunities for complex design challenges and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 6+ years of relevant consulting or utility industry experience with real-time or utility planning solutions including (DER/Load Forecasting, DERMS, ADMS, OMS, DMS, D-SCADA, GIS, and /or EMS
  • 6+ years of experience with larges systems integration (SI) projects including SI Lead experience
  • Strong experience with leading Integration, Data and Testing teams
  • Understanding of load and generation profile data and processes
  • Experience in working with electric distribution network model
  • Travel 50% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred:

  • Experience in analytics involving SCADA, AMU, Weather and similar time series data
  • Strong experience leading technical workshops and /or facilitating meetings of mixed stakeholder groups across Business, IT, and Operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement
  • Eagerness to mentor junior staff
  • Tools including- HP PPM, HP ALM, MS Office (including Project and Visio)
