Power, Utilities & Renewables- ORA Functional Lead Manager

Work you’ll do

You along with dynamic colleagues will help companies develop, implement, and operationalize multi-channel customer interaction capabilities for both external and internal customer-facing operations. As a Manager, you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. Manager level responsibilities include: providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement. You will be expected to implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. You will have the opportunity to lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.

Role Description:

  • Lead overall functional delivery
  • Oversee business requirements and client business product owners to advise on the overall solution shaping
  • Interface with cross project dependencies for interfacing projects
    • Support business case development, socialization, authorization and contracting
    • Develop functional test cases for reports, consumption patterns and E2E scenarios for outage events.
    • Maintain client business relationships to drive engagement and satisfaction around the solution functionality
    • Consistently monitor the scope of projects
    • Collaborate with project managers and other staff members to develop budgets and timelines for solutions
    • Assess and evaluate risk as required
    • Maintain understanding of how individual work and decisions fit into the broader organizational picture
    • Keep skills updated and remain proactively aware of happenings and current events in the industry
    • Mentor, educate, and train colleagues as requested

Qualifications

 Required:

  • 7+ years of relevant consulting experience in Power & Utilities with experience around OMS systems, Outage Reporting, or Customer Channels around Outage scenarios.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred:

  • Functional experience in the Power &Utilities domain leading large complex programs
  • Business case development experience around IT consolidation, standardization, regulatory fine avoidance and customer experience
  • Familiarity with Outage Data and key KPIs/Metrics associated with outages (CAIDI/SAIFI)
  • Familiarity with PowerBI or equivalent
  • Ability to engage business stakeholders in typical industry language and liaison between them and the IT organizations
