Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
• Conduct data analysis and data management, market and financial analysis, operations research analysis, and critical and strategic materials expertise.
• Identify, analyze, and utilize data on the defense industrial base to increase visibility and direct strategic decision-making.
• Analyze market trends and industrial base capacity to improve future assessments and investments for building industrial base resilience long-term.
• Enhance the strength of strategic and critical materials supply chains and policies.
• Review past and present policies, oversight mechanisms, and other authorities to determine how DoD can more effectively incentivize its supplier base.

Our Supply Chain Networks team helps clients transform their value chains into competitive weapons. We drive efficiency, improve flexibility, and increase responsiveness through proactive insights and decision-making. We advise, implement, and operate transformational solutions that bring world-class supply network and operational capabilities to our clients. We provide operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions to deliver unprecedented client value. Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value through M&A events.
Qualifications
Required
- Must have 10 years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Support program management and familiarity with client issues, assistance with design issues, supporting client teams, analysis of project data, and development of appropriate deliverables.
- Is proficient in the use of firm tools and enablers to better support the overall objectives and goals of the program objectives.
- Has demonstrated these skills by performing status reports, verifying work plan completeness, and communicating with team members.
- Other skills include development of leadership/management skills, performing benchmark analyses, building organizational design models, and defining business and technical needs.
- Hybrid Work Environment with 40% onsite expectations including onsite at client at minimum 2 days per week.
Preferred
- Has 5+ years of experience providing support to senior leadership in Government or Industry on investment decisions and market trends.
- Candidate has experience in one or more of the following areas: Private equity and hedge fund research, financial modeling, market, and financial analysis.
- Ability to conduct analysis of defense relevant markets to identify trends and their potential to affect the DoD’s ability to develop, acquire, and maintain current and future weapon systems, platforms, and other capabilities.
- Conduct market analysis on key strategic and critical materials by tracking trends, identifying risks to DoD and larger U.S. economy and propose mitigating solutions, to include changes in policies, establishing market incentives, and potential investment strategies.
Understanding of supply chain risk management practices and the ability to use research tools to conduct value chain analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Math, Statics, Data Science, or Economics
